ALLDAY PROJECT Chaebol Idol Annie Moon Set for MBC Variety Show Debut
Shinsegae Heiress and Rookie K-Pop Group to Appear on "Omniscient Interfering View"
Rising co-ed K-pop group ALLDAY PROJECT, featuring Shinsegae Group heiress Annie Moon, is set to make their first major variety show appearance on MBC's "Omniscient Interfering View" (전지적 참견 시점), according to industry reports.
The group, which debuted on June 23, 2025, with their single album "Famous" under The Black Label, will showcase their behind-the-scenes daily lives through the popular Saturday night program.
ALLDAY PROJECT has captured unprecedented attention primarily due to member Annie Moon (real name Moon Seoyoon), who represents a historic first in the K-pop industry. Annie is the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group Chairman Lee Myung-hee and daughter of Shinsegae President Jung Yoo-kyung, making her Korea's first chaebol heir to debut as a professional idol.
Annie revealed she spent ten years convincing her family to allow her idol career, ultimately fulfilling the condition of gaining admission to Columbia University before receiving permission to pursue entertainment. The 23-year-old is currently studying Art History and Visual Arts at the prestigious Ivy League institution.
The group's commercial performance has exceeded industry expectations. "Famous" achieved a "Perfect All Kill" by topping all major Korean music platforms including Melon, Genie, Bugs, Flo, and Vibe. The track also entered Billboard's Global 200 chart at number 94, demonstrating their international appeal from debut.
Within three days of release, "Famous" reached number one on Melon's TOP100, making it the fastest debut track by a fifth-generation group to achieve this milestone. The group secured their first music show victory just ten days after debut.
ALLDAY PROJECT features five members with exceptional backgrounds:
- Annie Moon: Shinsegae heiress and Columbia University student
- Youngseo: Former ILLIT pre-debut member and R U Next? contestant
- Bailey Sok: Korean-American choreographer known for work with major K-pop acts
- Woochan: Former Show Me The Money contestant and ex-Trainee A member
- Tarzzan: Professional model
The group represents The Black Label's second idol project under producer Teddy, and marks the first official co-ed group in Korean pop music since KARD eight years ago. Their unconventional format and members' established presence in various fields created significant buzz before debut.
"Omniscient Interfering View" airs every Saturday at 11:10 PM and features celebrities' real daily lives through their managers' candid reports. For ALLDAY PROJECT, the appearance offers an opportunity to showcase their personalities beyond polished stage performances, particularly revealing how Annie navigates her dual identity as both a business dynasty heir and rookie idol.
The group's rapid progression to mainstream television variety programming, occurring less than a month after debut, signals their potential as major industry players and reflects the extraordinary public interest surrounding Korea's first chaebol idol.
