BLACKPINK Member Jennie Looks Stunning at the Met Gala

The Met gala is known to be one of the world's largest fashion charity event attended by popular stars in the Hollywood and entertainment industry. The theme this year is Karl Lagerfeld: The Line of Beauty chaired by Dua Lipa, Roger Federer, Michaela Coel, and Penelope Cruz.

Jennie Kim, better known mononymously as Jennie, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and songwriter. She was born on January 16, 1996, in South Korea, and is best known as a member of the internationally popular K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, which debuted in 2016 under YG Entertainment.

Jennie was the first member of BLACKPINK to be revealed to the public, through a series of teaser videos and photos leading up to the group's debut. She quickly gained attention for her striking visuals and strong rapping skills, and she became a fan favorite.

As a member of BLACKPINK, Jennie has contributed to the group's numerous hit songs, including "Boombayah", "Whistle", "As If It's Your Last", and "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du". She has also released solo music, including the single "Solo" in 2018, which was a commercial and critical success.
