B.A.P Member Yoo Young Jae Cast As Main Lead For Upcoming Historical ‘BL’ K-Drama ‘Love In Spring’

B.A.P's Yoo Young Jae will finally debut in his first-ever lead role in a historical K-drama!

J World Entertainment confirmed that B.A.P's Yoo Young Jae is cast as the main male lead for the upcoming historical K-drama "Love In Spring." 

According to reports, the upcoming historical drama "Love In Spring" is based on a webtoon of the same title by Noh Myung Hee. 

"Love In Spring" will revolve around the love story of a man disguising as a woman and a man working on elevating himself from slavery.

B.A.P's Yoo Young Jae will take on the role of play the role of Jin Geum Seong, a poor nobleman who stays together with his mother. He works hard to make ends meet. 

Yoo Young Jae made his acting debut in the 2019 drama "Kim is A Genius" where he played the role of Chun Chan Dol. In the same year, the idol turned actor also took the role of hacker Kim Suk for the drama "Woman of 9.9 Billion."

In 2021, Yoo Young Jae played the role of Byung In's cousin Kim Hwan on the hit drama "Mr.Queen." Recently, he took the role of Jo Joon Wonk on the drama "Police University," where he starred alongside Cha Tae Hyun, B1A4's Jung Jin Young, f(x)'s Krystal Jung, Choi Seo Won, Hong Soo Hyun and Lee jong Hyuk.

Joining Yoo Young Jae is actor Kim Song who will take on the role of Choi Hye Song, a man disguised as a woman. Also starring in the drama "Love In Spring" is actress Kim Seong Hee.

The K-drama "Love In Spring" is set to premiere in the first half of 2022. The "Boys Love" drama will exclusively be available on the OTT streaming platform, Watcha.
