NCTzens Proud As NCT 127’ ‘Sticker’ Takes Its First Win On ‘M Countdown’

SM Entertainment's NCT 127 is recently on a hot streak and it seems as though the K-pop boy group cannot be stopped. Recently making a comeback on the 17th of September, the NCT sub-group has been garnering a plethora of laurels.

Among the notable achievements that the SM Entertainment K-pop boy group reached was having the MV for "Sticker'" as the most viewed music video for the 3rd week of September in terms of K-pop boy groups. 

Notably, NCT 127 released "Sticker," their highly-anticipated comeback, along with its official music video on the 17th of September. Within 2 days since its release, the MV has gained over 35.27 million views topping the "Most Viewed Music Videos Of K-Pop Boy Groups" list for the third week of September. 

Currently as of writing this article on the 24th of September, the music video for NCT 127's "Sticker" has reached more than 50 million views. Moreover, NCT 127 just recently won their first award for "Sticker" and NCTzens (the fandom name of NCT and its sub-units) are hyped.

As of writing this article, yesterday on the 23rd of September, NCT 127's "Sticker" and BLACKPINK's Lisa's "Lalisa" were pitted against each other as both were nominated for first place on "M Countdown."

After a tense tallying of scores, NCT 127's got the win with "Sticker," taking their first win on "M Countdown."

The members were not present in the show so NCT 127's Johnny, Taeyong, and Haechan accepted the win via a pre-recorded video.

In the video, the members of NCT 127 noted, "We've finally got our first win. Although all our members could not be with us right now, we will be on 'M Countdown' next week, so we ask for everyone's anticipation and support until then. We hope that our fans will stay happy and healthy."

Notably, for this episode of "M Countdown" there were n new performances. Old performances were just broadcasted coinciding with the themes: Hangawi (Chuseok) special, warm autumn voices special, and 2021 second-half comebacks special.
