'Street Woman Fighter' has been under criticism from Korean netizens after it was revealed that Mnet's survival program show was not going to give any cash price to the victor of the dance show. The premise of 'Street Woman Fighter' is to find the best female street dance crew in South Korea, upon the debut of the show it was announced that they will be giving out a cash prize for the champions of the show.

According to their website, 'Street Woman Fighter' will be giving out a prize of 50 Million KRW ($43,000) together with benefits and a trophy. Originally the show announced that there was no cash price winning, instead, it will only be a trophy and media coverage. Korean netizens believe that this is unfair and immediately compared the show to Mnet's 'Show Me The Money'.

Netizens have pointed out that 'Show Me The Money' offers not only benefits to its winner but a whopping 300 Million KRW ($257,000) cash price to the winner of the show. Included in the winnings are album production and support to make high-quality music. 'Street Woman Fighter' was then slammed by the netizens for being too feeble with their prizes.

Mnet was quick to change their prizes upon taking into account the Netizens' criticisms. The addition of the cash prize will not only give the dance crew a start on their career but is also a small price to pay for their hard effort. 'Street Woman Fighter' is currently gaining a lot of attention in Korea.

'Street Woman Fighter' first episode invited the top female dance crew in South Korea, which garnered high ratings for Mnet. Many backup dancers for famous idols have joined the show, which makes it more exciting. Fans are hoping that idols will soon guest on the show to provide star factor.
