BLACKPINKs Rose Spotted In New York Ahead Of Met Gala

BLACKPINK's Rose has been spotted recently in New York City ahead of the announced event date of the prestigious Met Gala. A known paparazzi, Diggzy was able to photograph Rose out and about in New York City. Rose looked casual, wearing a blue button-up crop top, blue blazer, and gray bell-bottom pants.

According to Diggzy, he spotted the BLACKPINK leader coming out of Yves Saint Laurent, speculating that the South Korean pop star will be dressed by YSL for the upcoming Met Gala event. Fans commented immediately upon reading the news and seeing the paparazzi photo of the beautiful YG singer.

Rose's fans are excited about the star's attendance at the Met Gala. Rose will make history as the first Korean star to attend such a prestigious event. A netizen commented that she will wake up early to watch the Met Gala as long as Rose is in it. Others praised Rose for her laidback look in the paparazzi shot.

The 2021 Met Gala will be live-streamed for the first time on September 13 at 5:30 PM EST. This year's theme is 'America: A Lexicon of Fashion'. The Met Gala is an event attended only via invitation, many Hollywood actors and actresses are yet to attend the ceremony since it is one of the most difficult events to be invited in.

BLACKPINK's Rose has been on hiatus after revealing her last solo video 'On The Ground'. Rose who is born in New Zealand and grew up most of her life in the tiny country moved to South Korea to become a YG trainee, she soon debuted with BLACKPINK. Although there is no particular leader in the group, fellow group members see Rose as the leader of the group.
