LABOUM

Making their debut in 2014 under Global H Media (NH Media and Nega Network), LABOUM once again garnered recent attention as "Journey to Atlantis" the K-pop girl group's 2016 track, rose up the charts, getting love from netizens and fans.

Notably, as LABOUM's "Journey to Atlantis" once again rose in popularity, MSG Wannabe (a project vocal male group) covered LABOUM's "How Do You Play?" This gave the song a sudden boost as it made its way up to the top of Korea's real-time music charts.

Unfortunately, tragic news recently struck as Yujeong, LABOUM's leader, revealed yesterday on the 8th of September that she had decided to part ways with the K-pop girl group after seven years as their contracts expired with their agency.

But Lattes (the fandom name of LABOUM) were greeted with good news not long after as Interpark Music Plus went on to officially announce that the other four members of LABOUM, being Soyeon, ZN, Haein, and Solbin, joined their agency as their very first K-pop girl group.

It should be noted that Interpark Music Plus is a new label that began in May by Interpark, a Korean e-commerce and online ticketing giant. The label's goal is to introduce idol groups and picking up LABOUM was a very smart move.

Interpark Music Plus also confirmed that LABOUM is presently gearing up to make a comeback as a four-member group very soon. The label has stated that the K-pop idols are "picking up the pace" as they are doing their best for their upcoming album.

Adding to this, LABOUM's Solbin is at present gearing up to be the star in the new JTBC drama entitled "IDOL: The Coup." LABOUM's ZN has also been confirmed to make an appearance in SBS's upcoming drama entitled "I'll Become Your Night."

Congratulations to the members of LABOUM and Interpark Music Plus!
