EA promises future "Star Wars Battlefront" DLC to have more content for players to try out and enjoy, according to Gamespot.

A few days ago, the game was launched on the new generation consoles which are the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One and also on the PC. The overall response to the full game was satisfactory with the PS4 getting more online players compared to the other platforms.

EA Studios executive Patrick Soderlund has revealed in a blog post that future "Star Wars Battlefront" DLC will have lots of new content in the coming months. A lot of players have complained that the game does not have enough content for a multiplayer game.

The first post DLC for the game will be featuring a planet that "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" will be on and that is planet Jakku. The DLC will feature "The Battle of Jakku" for the multiplayer game, according to Tech Times.

The Battle of Jakku DLC will also showcase a new mode for players to try out which will be called the "Turning Point," according to IGN. The new mode will follow the events that took place on the planet Jakku which then follows the Battle of Endor. This is what actually created the debris that many have seen in trailers in the new "Star Wars" movie. The DLC will also feature two maps for the game.

"At the edge of the map, the Empire has constructed a make-shift base as well as smaller fortifications strewn across the landscape," explains lead level designer Dennis Brannvall of the mode. "Following an emergency landing, the Rebels need to locate the enemy bases to attack and take control of them all."

The "Star Wars Battlefront" DLC will be available on Dec. 1 for those who have preordered the game. The other gamers who did not preorder will get it a week later. This will be a free DLC.
