Recently, actress Song Hye Kyo made headlines after posting a photo on her personal Instagram page. On July 11, the "Encounter" actress posted a black and white photo of her and actor Yoo Ah In, together with her dog.
Such a post made some fans wonder, thus sparking dating rumors between the two actors. However, nothing is confirmed about the real score between Song Hye Kyo and Joo Ah In, so the picture can be just two close colleagues hanging out.
On the other hand, an exclusive report from Newsen is signaling Song Hye Kyo's return to the small screen. According to the report, Song Hye Kyo is making her highly anticipated comeback with another Lee Eung Bok masterpiece.
An industry insider revealed that Song Hye Kyo has verbally agreed to appear in director Lee Eung Bok's upcoming mystery thriller drama.
"Through the drama, you will be able to see Lee Eung Bok's top-tier directing skills and Song Hye Kyo's charms," an entertainment industry insider shared.
As of the writing of this article, Lee Eung Bok's upcoming drama has yet to have a confirmed title. If Song Hye Kyo decides to take on the role, it will be her second time working with the hitmaker director as they have worked together for the hit 2016 drama "Descendants of the Sun."
Director Lee Eung Bok is known for his hit dramas such as "Goblin," "Mr. Sunshine," "Dream High," and "Descendants of the Sun."
Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo is confirmed to take on the main role as Ha Young Eun for the upcoming drama "Now, We Are Breaking Up." The A-list actress is also confirmed to star in the drama "The Glory" as Moon Dong Eun. Both dramas are expected to air within this year, making Song Hye Kyo fully booked for exciting projects.
