Xbox Live Gold Free Games To Highlight ‘Van Helsing;’ Details Released!
Xbox Live Gold free games for December will highlight "The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing," and a few more other games for the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 console, according to Gematsu.
Xbox Live always has free games to give away every month to compete with its rival, PlayStation Live. Xbox owners need to have Gold subscription first before they can take advantage of its features like monthly free games. Last November, Xbox Live had a good batch of free games for their members and a couple of those were triple A games.
This December, Xbox Live Gold free games will highlight "The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing" for the Xbox One. This game will be available for the whole month of December, according to the Express. This is a triple A game that many gamers play a lot. "Thief" will also be available as a free game for the month of December but it will only be available from Dec. 16 to Jan. 15.
While Xbox One only has two free games, the Xbox 360 line up will feature three free games for the month of December, according to Eurogamer.net. "CastleStorm" will be available from Dec. 1 to Dec. 15. After that, the game will be replaced by "Sacred 3," which will be available from Dec. 16 until the end of the month. Also coming along with "Sacred 3" is "Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising" which is also available for download on Dec. 16 to Dec. 31.
There are still some November games with Gold promotion that is still up for grabs as free games, according to IGN. "Dungeon Siege III" is still free for download until the end of the month. "Knight Squad" is also free and it will remain that way until Dec. 15. After that, these games will be replaced with Xbox Live Gold free games for December.
