Nabbing 8th Win For ‘Hot Sauce’ On ‘M Countdown’, NCT DREAM Wins Triple Crown

One of SM Entertainment's NCT's subgroups, NCT DREAM, dropped their latest album, "Hot Sauce" almost more than 3 weeks ago on the 10th of May and NCTzens have not been the same again.

Rocking 10 tracks, NCT DREAM's comeback album, "Hot Sauce," is spearheaded by their title track of the same name, "Hot Sauce." 

In addition, even before the release of "Hot Sauce," NCT DREAM was already making headlines as they were able to break their personal record in pre-order sales with their recent album.

Aside from pre-order sales, previously on the 26th of May, it was reported that NCT DREAM's "Hot Sauce", also their first ever full-length album, has gone on to sell over 2 million copies.

Taking only a little over than two weeks, NCT DREAM is now double million seller. Not long ago, NCT DREAM once again, as an SM Entertainment's male K-pop group, reached another breakthrough with "Hot Sauce."

On the 28th of May, NCT DREAM received their 7th win on KBS' "Music Bank" and even more recently, NCT DREAM has gone on to win their eighth music show trophy, not only that, they were also able to get a triple crown with "Hot Sauce" on "M Countdown"!

As of writing this article, yesterday on the 3rd of June, an episode of Mnet's "M Countdown"  showed the finalists for first place. NCT DREAM's "Hot Sauce" and Oh My Girl's "Dun Dun Dance" were facing each other head to head. 

After taking a notable 6,723 points, NCT DREAM went on to become the victors.

This is now the third consecutive week that NCT DREAM's "Hot Sauce" has placed #1 on "M Countdown," thus SM Entertainment's K-pop boy group has been dubbed as "triple crown" kings!

Moreover, the South Korean artists to perform on Mnet's "M Countdown" were Kang Min Soo, TXT, MAMAMOO, aespa, EVERGLOW, SGBOYZ, GHOST9, GWSN, fromis_9, Sung Si Kyung, TO1, Rocket Punch, TRI.BE, woo!ah!, Tae Jin Ah, LAM, and Seogi.
