McDonald’s South Korea Jam-packed As Fans Line Up For ‘BTS Meal’

Many people have waited in line in McDonald's in Sinchon, Seoul, ignoring the light rains on Thursday morning as they anticipate in ordering the "BTS Meal." The meal was officially available in the country as well as in 50 other countries this week.

Some of the customers waited in line either to dine-in or take out the BTS meal. Due to the volume of incoming and outgoing customers, the McDonald's staff made sure that the customers are practicing social distancing, following health protocols, and track each customers via QR code scanning.

Those who order the "BTS Meal" will have a special paper bag with the BTS logo. The meal contains the following: a 10-piece Chicken McNugget, medium World Famous Fries, Medium-size Coke, and dipping sauces of Sweet Chili and Cajun.

The meal can be ordered both for dine-in and takeout orders. You may also deliver them to your home or office via the McDonald's App. Take note that availability and price of the BTS meal would depend on your location. The meal is sold in over 50 countries.

BTS or Bangtan Sonyeondan made its debut in 2010 under the South Korean record label Big Hit Entertainment. The group consists of the following members: Jimin, SUGA, RM, Jin, Jung Kook, V, and J-Hope.

Their newest song, "Butter" was released on May 21, 2021, at 13:00 Korea Standard Time or 12 midnight Eastern Standard Time. Its label, HYBE, reported previously that the single is sure to melt the hearts of ARMYs. As of press time, the official music video for the song is still racking in millions of views on YouTube.

In relation to the BTS meal, there have various online posts saying that fans are demanding for duplicates of the BTS meal packaging. Some reselling them in both fair and unfair prices.
