Rosé's 'On The Ground': Here Is What Netizens Are Saying

Rosé's "On The Ground" is unstoppable over the Internet. Since its launch on March 12th, it has been gaining millions of views and generating buzz on social media platforms. 

As of press time, the "On The Ground" music video, a solo performance of BLACKPINK's Rosé, has already garnered over 71 million views on YouTube, expected to even gather further viewers in the coming days and weeks. 

It features the lyrics "My life's been magic seems fantastic / I used to have a hole in the wall with a mattress," "I worked my whole life / Just to get right just to be like," "My world's been hectic seems electric / But I've been waking up with your voice in my head," and so much more.

"'On The Ground' is now the Longest-running #1 song on iTunes worldwide by a Korean female soloist within three days!" @RMC_211 posted on Twitter

BLINK Misha Faith Cauilan posted on Facebook, "The choreography was so amazing! indeed a masterpiece. so proud of you mah queen (emojis)"

"Popular opinion: Everyone agrees that we need more solos and BLACKPINK collabs," YouTube commenter Shweta Rana said. 

On the other hand, netizen I OK I quoted the lyrics "Everything I need is on the ground," and wrote, "Starts floating." The post has gained over 16,000 likes. 

Other netizens, however, are criticizing the collection of views, saying it is slower compared with other music videos. 

Even popular artists like Halsey are congratulating BLACKPINK's Rosé. Halsey wrote, "I can't express how proud I am of you girl. Keep it up!!! Massive love." 

Halsey has also previously collaborated with BTS in their song, "Boy With Luv."

Over the weekend, BLACKPINK's Rosé performed "On The Ground" live on SBS' music program, Inkigayo, earning various praises among netizens. There are more projects lined up for BLACKPINK, and Korea Portal will always be on the scene. Keep it tuned in.
