If you're buying a new phone very soon, you might have to hold it off and wait a bit more. Android and smartphone fans were surprised as render images of the OnePlus 9 were leaked recently. This new flagship phone for OnePlus is expected to be released sometime in early 2021. Sources, however, say that the phone will be released on March 23.

Reports have said that the OnePlus 9 will have a 6.5-inch display with a 120Hz rate. It will also have an Ultrashot camera, and it will be powered by Qualcomm's powerful new Snapdragon 888 chip.

With this expected release, the competition for the best Android phone for the 2021 market will be fierce as Samsung will also be releasing its Samsung Galaxy S21 this year. Samsung's Galaxy line of Android is one of the company's best smartphone line-ups, and expectations from tech experts and ordinary consumers are high at this point.

OnePlus's release of the 8T was disappointing, according to various comments and tech reviews. Although much information has been released so far about the 9T, people hope it would be at least better than the previously released model.

As the new phone's supposed release date is nearing, OnePlus has teased about the OnePlus 9 Pro's Hasselblad camera. Various social media posts confirm that it will have a custom Sony IMX789 sensor. The development for this ambitious feature has cost more than $15 million to make this possible.

OnePlus may have listened to the various feedback they received on the previous models. They took it a step further and developed a better camera to shoot and take the best pictures and video while on the go. Even in current cases like the current COVID-19 pandemic, users are also seeking a phone that will have excellent and clear output quality when doing video calls and live streams at home.

With the released date now nearing, users hope that the OnePlus 9 will finally deliver the best features that people are looking for in a modern Android smartphone.
