Funko Pop has been one of the most popular toy collectibles out there. According to their Fourth Quarter 2020 report, sales went up by 6%, earning the company $227 million.

Funko, the company that creates Funko Pop and other related products, stated that it expects a sales growth of 25% to 30%. This has so far been the company's best quarter domestically.

It was revealed that one of the items that got them to boost their sales is the Funko Pop and related entities under the popular series "The Mandalorian." From books to movie adaptations, such as "Harry Potter," "Marvel Cinematic Universe," and so on, also made a lot of sales in 2020 alone.

With people requiring to stay at home during a pandemic, some people resort to purchasing items online from official online stores (like in this case, Funko) instead of physically. The amount of various franchises that Funko covers is also the reason for the company's success. Some Funko Pops are evergreen and always available for sale on the market. The prices for rare and limited Funkos jack-up from hundreds to thousands of dollars

"The Mandalorian" is an action-adventure series in the famous Star Wars franchise that starts five years after the events of the 1983 movie "Return of the Jedi." The show is streaming on Disney's exclusive video streaming service Disney+.

It officially made its debut on the platform on November 12, 2019, and since then has become one of its most popular streamed series. The first season was praised with lots of positive reviews, which continued to its second season. It has won a lot of awards and nominations in the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards.

It is confirmed that three spin-off series will also be produced following the series and to expand its timeline: "The Book Boba Fett," "Rangers of the New Republic," and "Ahsoka."
