'Inner Child' By BTS's V Tops US iTunes Chart Despite Being Released For A Year!

"Inner Child" single by global K-pop sensation BTS has once again top the US iTunes chart. The pop ballad that showcases the beautiful voice of BTS member V has reigned very well on both Korean national charts as well as internationally.

It comes not as a surprise as BTS is one of the most successful boy bands that has come out of the K-pop scene. Their massive international following has made them a force to be reckoned with.

The single "Inner Child" is one of the songs in BTS's full album "Map Of The Soul: 7," which also topped the charts upon its release.

According to Headlineplanet.com the single has risen to the top of the iTunes chart due to "Map Of The Soul: 7" turned one year.

"Inner Child" is a solo single sang by V in which he sings about his past self. Upon its national and international release, it was praised by many music review sites and has been often cited as one of the favorite tracks in the album by the majority of the BTS fans.

V is one of the most successful soloists in the BTS boy band. In the past year, V has released two solo singles, including "Inner Child," and "Sweet Night," which is the 12th OST of the famous series "Itaewon Class."

Both V's solo tracks have charted on the top of the iTunes chart. According to a report in KpopStarz.com, V is the first K-pop solo act to land two songs atop the US iTunes chart. Furthermore, BTS's V is the only Asian to do so.

"Sweet Night" also broke PSY's record for "Gangnam Style" after it charted on the number one spot on the US iTunes chart in over 117 countries.

Currently, "Inner Child" has 94 number 1's on the chart despite having no promotions or a music video.
