I.M Of Monsta X Reveals Tracklist For His First Solo Mini-Album 'Duality'

I.M of Monsta X recently revealed the tracklist of his first solo mini-album earlier this day, showcasing five songs that are poised to be hit after hit. Starship Entertainment announced that I.M would be releasing a solo mini-album last Sunday, teasing the fans of the K-pop band Monsta X by uploading a poster on the band's official Twitter account.

"It will be I.M's first solo release since his debut," the company said in a statement. "We hope fans look forward to the album, which will offer unique music.

"Now, the company has finally unveiled the lineup song, and it has fans raging. The mini-album titled "Duality" includes the songs "God Damn," which is the title track, followed by "Howlin'," "Burn," "Happy to Die," and "Flower-ed."

The mini-album is promised to be a very intimate look at I.M's creative process as he was heavily involved in the making of all five songs. The 24-year-old idol both composed the music and wrote the lyrics of the tracks in "Duality."

I.M, whose real name is Im Chang-kyun, debuted last 2015 as a member of the K-pop band Monsta X, releasing an album called "Trespass." The band has successfully released four Korean albums since their debut and two Japanese Albums in the past three years.

Members of Monsta X has since branched out to different areas in the multimedia business, which solidified their status in the global K-pop industry.

The news of I.M's mini-album has fans excited as they have been expressing their desire for the rapper to release his own album following the success of his two mixtapes, which were "Fly With Me" in 2018 and "Horizon" the following year.

Starship also revealed that I.M would be doing multiple appearances in variety shows and other media platforms to showcase his first solo mini-album.

"Duality" is scheduled to hit streaming platforms on February 19 at 2 PM (KST).
