The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has prompted many event organizers to postpone their shows or conduct them virtually. The worldwide fashion shows in New York, Paris, and Berlin are not spared. Fashion weeks in these cities are going to be held virtually, thus without any audience.

In New York, the fashion week will be a digital event that will be held at Spring Studios from February 14th to February 18th. The event organizers will disclose the curators for the fashion event, including details of the shows, talks, and more.

For one, Taiwanese-Canadian fashion designer Jason Wu will conduct a socially-distanced show at the New York Fashion Week with limited, by-appointment viewers.

In Paris, the fashion shows this year will also be conducted virtually. Luxury houses will not be allowed to invite guests this season, as they are following government regulations, ABC News reported.

The Paris Fashion Week kicked off yesterday, featuring designers Christian Dior, Schiaparelli, Ziad Nakad, Julien Fournié, Farhad Re, and more.

In Berlin, the fashion week held last January 18th to 24th likewise was conducted virtually with several protocols followed, including holding the Berlin Fashion Week without trade fairs.

Despite these, the event organizers and fashion enthusiasts are unstoppable in supporting the worldwide fashion weeks. For instance, Leni Klum, the daughter of renowned supermodel Heidi Klum opened the Berlin Fashion Week on January 20th. She reportedly presented 25 outfits from top designers, including Kaviar Gauche, Michael Sontag and Lala Berlin.

Renowned fashion houses are also opening this year's collection strong amid the pandemic. Fashion brand Chanel has unveiled this year's collection, featuring florals, string lights, wedding-like decor, and so much more.

Meanwhile, Dior has introduced its Spring/Summer 2021 collection that gives tribute to Monsieur Dior's interest in medieval Visconti-Sforza tarot decks in Milan with artist representations. The collection is represented by a couture ensemble featuring pieces like the golden jacquard dress and chenille gowns.
