Lee Min Ho Felt 'Pressured', 'Nervous' When He Auditioned For 'Pachinko'

Lee Min Ho is, undoubtedly, one of the most promising actors of his generation. So, it does not come as a surprise that the former boyfriend of Suzy Bae continues to get caliber projects even after he stepped away from the limelight for a couple of years. In fact, he is set to make his television comeback thru the imminent Apple TV+ series called Pachinko.

In a recent interview with GQ Korea, Lee Min Ho revealed how he got the role as Hansu in Pachinko. The City Hunter star said that he was so determined to get the character. Because of this, he really spent time to work and prepare for the role.

Lee Min Ho even divulged that he felt so pressured during the audition as he wants to slay it. The Boys Over Flowers actor stated he was both thrilled and nervous at the time. Thankfully, Min Ho got the role, which he said that is very different from the "knight in shining armor" characters he portrayed before.

The lead star of The King: Eternal Monarch said he wants to stop doing roles that is similar to the ones he did in the past. Lee Min Ho shared that things changed big time after he was cast for Pachinko. This, then, pushed him to pursue his plans and started his own YouTube channel called "leeminho film" after that.

In the same interview, Lee Min Ho divulged that he chooses the background music and theme of all his videos on YouTube. He, even, stated that he does about 70 to 80 percent of the editing. Min Ho shared he really loves the joy of working on things he loves, including the feeling of doing the job independently.

Pachinko is set to be released this year. Its production kicked off in October 2020. Lee Min Ho revealed in his latest YouTube video that he finished working on the upcoming series already.
