SNSD's Taeyeon Gearing Up For December Comeback
Girls' Generation leader Taeyeon is getting ready to release new songs soon!
SM Entertainment confirmed that the singer is preparing for a new album which will be released this coming December. Her last comeback was the song "Happy" which was released last May 4. The original date of the release was supposed to be on March 9 as a way to celebrate her birthday. But it had to be postponed as her father died on that day. A month later, her grandmother also passed away, hence the reason for the delayed release.
Aside from "Happy", Taeyeon was also featured in a couple of songs this year. This includes "Let Me Go" with Korean R&B artist Crush and a duet with Lee Seung-Chul, vocalist for rock band Boohwal. They sang "My Love" for Lee Seung Chul's 35th Anniversary Album Special.
The 31-year-old SNSD leader has also recently joined the variety show "Amazing Saturday" as a fixed cast member. She joined the show after the news that Girl's Day Hyeri will leave the show. Along with Taeyeon, SHINee's Key and Hanhae are also returning to the show. They had to leave to serve their military duties.
In Taeyeon's first appearance, which will be shown on November 21, the guests will be her co-label mates from SM Entertainment, SHINee's Taemin, and Exo's Kai.
