Not Long After Debut: aespa Faces Plagiarism Accusations + Fans Dig Giselle’s Background
Recently, an alleged Pinterest account of SM Entertainment's Creative was revealed in Pann and netizens found evidence that further fuel plagiarism accusations over their newest girl group, aespa.
In the said account, various boards are seen under titles that show various SM artists.
One title in particular, "rookies", caught the netizen's attention.
Under the title are various designs and graphic works that embody futuristic elements and neon schemes.
A design by Bryan Huynh, who previously claimed that he was plagiarized in an Instagram story, was seen in the mood board further adding fuel to fire. The netizens have also seen various design inspirations for aespa's logo.
SM Entertainment has yet to give their statement about the allegations.
Meanwhile, fans uncover the aespa's rapper and only Japanese member Giselle is from great family background.
Fans have unearthed an old tweet from ABC News Seoul bureau chief Joohee Cho which says that Giselle is her niece!
Joohee Cho is a well respected reporter who has even met South Korea's President Moon Jae In, personally.
Because of this, fans are amazed to learn how affluent and well connected Giselle's family is.
Despite the allegations surrounding the group, fans are hyped to unravel more of the mysteries associated with the aespa universe as well as get to know the members more.
