SM Drops Teaser for New Girl Group aespa + Confirms November Debut

SM Entertainment just dropped the bomb with their highly-anticipated girl group aespa, and fans are excited!

On October 26, 1 a.m. KST, South Korea's leading idol agency, SM Entertainment, teased the fans with a mysterious teaser and a very stylish logo.

Not only that, but fan speculations went to a flurry after SM released a teaser clip entitled, aespa: INTRO.

But the thirst for a new SM girl group is quenched when SM Entertainment confirmed that their new gg will be called "aespa" and is set to debut this November.

According to SM Entertainment, aespa is a combination of 'æ' which is short for 'Avatar X Experience' and 'aspect'

They said that through aespa, fans will be able to "experience a new world through another avatar" of themselves.

aespa will be SM's first new group since NCT in 2016 and its first girl group since Red Velvet in 2014.

Fans are excited to witness what the new girl group has in store.
