K-Drama 'He Is Psychometric' Drops New Teasers; Feature GOT7 Member Jinyoung & Actor Kim Kwon
Korean broadcast network tvN has released two teasers for its upcoming K-drama He Is Psychometric. The clips featured GOT7 member Jinyoung and Marry Me Now actor Kim Kwon.
Jinyoung plays the role of Lee Ahn, a high-school student who has supernatural power. He can read the secrets of anyone he touches. He will eventually use his power to take bad people down.
Kim Kwon, on the other hand, portrays the role of a seemingly cold but warm-hearted prosecutor Kang Sung Mo. He saved Lee Ahn when he was young and he treats the teenage boy as his little brother.
In the first teaser of the fantasy rom-com drama, Lee Ahn is seen at a morgue and running his hand over the cadaver lockers in hopes to gather information about a murder.
He sees young Kang Sung Mo looking hysterical amidst a fire. Lee Ahn tells himself that they already knew that there was a murder before the suspect committed an arson. But he needs conclusive evidence to prove the murder.
The second teaser shows Kang Sung Mo carefully studying a crime scene. He tells himself that the scene looks exactly what an experienced criminal do to meticulously hide traces of evidence by staging a fire or an explosion.
He Is Psychometric also stars A-Teen actress Shin Ye Eun as Yoon Jae In, a seemingly privileged and carefree young woman but hides a painful past. Kim Da Som is also in the new TV series as Eun Ji Soo, a detective who often asks Lee Ahn for help to solve cases as she knows about his psychometric abilities.
The K-drama earlier released a set of character posters that feature the four main characters in the story. He is Psychometric is set to premiere on March 4 at 9:30 p.m. KST. It will take the Monday and Tuesday timeslot of The Crowned Clown.
Meanwhile, GOT7 fans are excited to watch Jinyoung once again on a K-drama as He is Psychometric also marks the singer's comeback on K-drama. Jinyoung made his acting debut in the 2012 drama Dream High 2. His last K-drama was in 2016 hit Legend of the Blue Sea where he played the role of a teenage version of Lee Min Ho's character.
