'Encounter' Actor Park Bo Gum Personally Designed His Official Light Stick To Be Released This Month
Encounter actor Park Bo Gum is set to release his own light stick that he designed himself. Although it will be released in limited stock, Park's fans are still please of the good news.
Park's agency Blossom Entertainment revealed through their official social media accounts that the actor will be dropping his own official light stick very soon. It said that the merchandise will be available for pre-order for a limited time from mid-January while the details on how to purchase it will be released at a later date.
The agency also revealed that the Love In The Moonlight actor designed the lightstick himself. It has a white handle and a pastel blue and heart-shaped "On" button. The letters "P," "B," and "G" that stands for his name are intertwined and encased in a plastic globe along with wings and a cupid's bow and arrow. Check out the light stick image below.
The design makes the heart of fans flutter and more eager to get their hands on Park's lightstick. Fans are expecting that they can have the merch before the actor's first fan meeting in Seoul this year.
Park is set to kick off his Asia tour on January 26 at the University of Korea in Seoul. He is also set to meet his fans in Japan on February 3 and in Thailand on February 16. He will also visit Singapore on March 9, Hong Kong on March 16, Indonesia on March 23, and Malaysia on March 30. Park's fans in Taiwan will also be treated with his presence on April 6.
Park Bo Gum gained recognition in Korea's entertainment industry for his diverse range of roles in film and television. He had played a psychopathic lawyer in Hello Monster in 2015, a genius Go player in 2015 K-drama Reply 1988 and a Joseon crown prince in Love in the Moonlight.
He currently stars in tvN melodrama Encounter alongside Song Hye Kyo. This is Park and Song's comeback TV project. The actor last K-drama was in his 2016 Love In The Moonlight while Song last appeared in a TV series in 2016 hit romance drama Descendants of The Sun.
Encounter follows the lives of two individuals who have different personalities. Their chance encounter in a foreign country leads to a romantic relationship. Despite their age and social status gap, Jin Hyuk (Park) and Soo Hyun (Song) fight for their relationship. Encounter airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30 p.m. on tvN.
