Park Shin Hye 2018: Choi Tae Joon Girlfriend Might Reunite With Lee Min Ho For 'The Heirs' Season 2, Major Time Leap Possibly Happening
A highly anticipated reunion might be happening in the future. Fans who have been hoping to see Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho together again for The Heirs Season 2might finally get their wish. There are speculations that the show will get its highly anticipated sequel, but it could take a little longer than expected.
It's no secret that Park Shin Hye is a busy woman. Although Choi Tae Joon's girlfriend was last seen in the film Heart Blackened, she also appeared in the romantic TV series Temperature of Love last year. But is it possible that the star of Doctors will reunite with Lee Min Ho for The Heirs Season 2 once the Legend of the Blue Sea star finishes his mandatory military duty?
Fans recently rejoiced when Lee Min Ho completed his four-week basic training last month. The Gangnam Blues star was then seen in the advertisements for Good Base: Red Ginseng & Aronia tonic pouches. However, this does not mean that Park Shin Hye's former co-star had immediately resumed work. According to The Korea Herald, promotional photos taken before enlistment may still be used. Unfortunately, this means The Heirs Season 2 will need to be filmed after Lee Min Ho finishes his public service duty.
Lee Min Ho's mandatory military duty is not the only thing that has been postponing The Heirs Season 2 production. Park Shin Hye is also working on other projects including a new series, titled Memories of the Alhambra, with Hyun Bin. Nevertheless, there is hope that a sequel will be announced by next year.
There are speculations that The Heirs Season 2 will feature a major time leap. The sequel could follow Eun Sang and Kim Tan five years after the events in the first season. This way, Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho could portray older versions of their characters.
It is important to point out that Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho have not yet been confirmed to return for The Heirs Season 2. Nevertheless, there is hope that an announcement about the sequel will be made in the near future. Park Shin Hye's Memories of the Alhambra will air on SBS in November 2018 while Lee Min Ho will be discharged from military duty in May 2019.
