According to AllKPop, Coca-Cola has announced that BTS will be the drink's new ambassadors starting June this year. The company's South Korean branch said in a statement that the boy group was chosen for "their powerful energy on stage and passion for music matched well with the heat of the World Cup that everyone in the world enjoys." In addition to that, Coca-Cola said they "will be working with BTS to bring an exciting, special experience for the summer" in a campaign that will begin "with the Russia World Cup."
The announcement certainly had fans talking about BTS's next big event. There are speculations that V, J-Hope, RM, Jungkook, Suga, Jimin, and Jin will be one of the main performers at the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup that will be held in Russia.
