Girls’ Generation Members Busy With Their Solo Careers; Hyoyeaon Reveals Promotion Plans
During tvN's 'Where Is Mr. Kim 2,' Girls' Generation Hyoyeon, MC Jung Hyung Don, Lee Sang min, Kim Dong Hyun, and guest Sayuri visited an office to find the hidden actors among a group of reporters. To find them, the crew asked the reporters to come up with catchy headlines.
A reported asked Hyoyeon about her kpop group's promotion plans.
"We promised to get together whenever we want. Right now, I'm cheering on for the members' solo promotions. But we plan to promote on anniversaries like the 11th year, 12th year, etc.," she said.
The South Korean group under S.M. Entertainment is composed of eight members, Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun.
Seohyun
Currently, each member has their own solo projects. Seohyun will participate in the concert in North Korea. She will perform and will be joining other artists such as Cho Yong Pil, Lee Sun Hee, Yoon Do Hyun, Baek Ji Young, Jung In, Ali, and Red Velvet. They will perform on April 1.
Sooyoung
Sooyoung, on the other hand, has just landed her first major film lead role. She will be playing the main character in the Korean-Japanese film "Memories of a Dead-End."
Yuri
Yuri has made an appearance at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami on March 23. She performed her musical collaboration with Raiden, 'Always Find You.'
Taeyeon
Taeyeon has gotten into a car accident last year but this didn't stop her to release her own solo album and perform at her solo concert in December 2017.
Sunny
Sunny recently signed again with SM Entertainment and will continue to pursue her career in singing and acting.
Tiffany
Tiffany has recently released her cover of "Remember Me, the 'Coco' OST. Fans were pleased to hear her voice again after her first album release in 2016.
Yoona
Yoona has recently won the AFA Next Generation Award. She also promised to continue to grow and improve.
While the members of the group are busy with their solo careers, Hyoyeon's recent statement puts my mind at ease as this gives them the reassurance that the girls are still willing to get together for their fans.
