iKON is taking promotions to a new level. The Korean boy band is scheduled to appear in a home shopping channel to sell bulgogi sets. They will also promote their upcoming reality TV show.

Lotte Home Shopping has confirmed that iKON will be appearing on their TV channel to promote the Bulgogi Set that is worth 69,000 KRW ($65). The appearance was arranged by YG Food, which introduced the Bulgogi Set from YG Food's Three-Way Butcher brand.

Apparently, it is one of the best-selling items in the channel. In just three broadcasts, more than 10,000 orders have were made for the Bulgogi Set. It has recorded 600 million KRW ($561,000) of sales.

The K-pop group's label, YG Entertainment, has confirmed that the boys' appearance at Lotte Home Shopping channel is part of the members' challenge to do a part-time job for their upcoming reality show. It is unclear how the challenge will go. Perhaps each iKON member will do their sales pitch and whoever sells the most items wins the challenge. Reports indicate that iKON will also try the delicious spicy pork and beef bulgogi themselves.

Home shopping customers who purchase the Bulgogi Set during the live broadcast will automatically enter into a raffle for iKON's merchandise and autographed album. The iKON 50-minute episode at Lotte Home Shopping will air on March 29 at 10:45 p.m. KST.

iKON TV Reality Show

YG Entertainment has confirmed the new show for iKON during the idols' fan meeting earlier this month. The new TV program is mainly the band's way of expressing gratitude to their fans, the "iconics." It will feature behind-the-scenes stories of the band members, including their experiences during album launch, program guest appearances, fan meetings, and creating their own TV shows. Don't miss the premiere of iKON TV in April.

This is not the first TV show of iKON. They had the iKON Picnic show last year. The show focused on friendship.

In the previous iKON show, the seven-member group became students of Yang's High School and went on a school trip with seven students from Tokyo Girls High School. The girls' group was composed of Japanese actresses and members of girl group GEM. For five days, iKON acted like high school students and spent five days in Jeju Island with their Japanese classmates.

Meanwhile, the group has also hinted of another project this year. The project has been teased via iKON's "thank you" video for their fans which was shared via their YouTube Channel. iKON hinted that the new project will drop in June.

The K-pop boy band released its second full-length album, Return, earlier this year. It was their first studio album after Welcome Back three years ago. The latest album includes the track "Love Scenario" which took the top spot on music charts for more than 40 weeks. It was followed by a special single called "Rubber Band," which topped iTunes charts in over 10 countries.
