‘Outlander’ Season 3 & 4 Spoilers: Executive Producer Says Frank May Get Back To The Series
Outlander Season 3 may have brought back together time-traveling lovers Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan), but the loss of an indispensable character is worth remembering. Fans are quite disappointed to know that they won't be able to see one of their favorite characters, Frank (Tobias Menzies), in the series anymore. He was Claire's first husband who lived in twentieth-century Boston.
The terrible car crash in Outlander Season 3 in which Frank lost his life was absolutely unexpected to viewers. Through many ways, he was a great character in everyone's eyes. Although he had an affair and planned to give up his marital ties with Claire, he was always there to love his daughter, Brianna (Sophie Skelton), despite the fact that he knew Brianna was not his biological child. He also supported Claire's career goals to become a doctor. Claire admitted that she did love him while bidding goodbye to Frank for the last time.
Reunion between Brianna and Claire
The other updates surrounding Outlander Season 4 gives confirmation from the A Very British Sex Scandal actor, Sam, who says that the production team was recently involved in filming the reunion between Claire and Brianna. They were also working on the final meeting between Brianna and Sam's character, Jamie, as reported by Fansided.
The actor also hinted that this is a major part of the novel. This is the top hour Jamie and Claire understand that their girl has traveled from the relatively safe future to a time period that demands slavery, war, and pirates. However, Claire is not happy about her daughter choosing to travel through the stones.
Will Frank really come back?
However, there is a possibility that Frank may come back in Outlander Season 4. The executive producer of the series, Meril Davis, hinted at a panel event in Los Angeles that the viewers might see Frank coming back to the shores again. Since he has given the hint, fans have been wondering how this can happen. If escaping death is not possible, only through flashbacks can his reappearance in the series be possible.
Outlander Season 4 is yet to get its official premiere date, but reports suggest that it will debut anytime in 2018.
