Big Bang has unveiled its newest track, "Flower Road," on Tuesday, March 13. Now, the song is making waves and hitting the number one spot of known different charts.

"Flower Road" has taken Melon, Genie, Bugs, Mnet, Naver, and Soribada's top spots upon its release, Soompi reported.

YG Entertainment has been teasing the song's release since last week by posting a snap of a floral setting on Twitter. According to the music label, "Flower Road" was made while Big Bang was working with their album, Made.

The new song's lyrics were written by G-Dragon and T.O.P. The initial also worked on composing and arranging it with the help of The Fliptones.

"This is not the end of us / I hope we'll meet again when the flowers are blooming," G-Dragon said about the "Flower Road." The song works as their farewell track as it will be in a long hiatus following their enlistments.

In fact, the song's title refers to the Korean culture where someone is going to a glorious path. This could be pertaining to Big Bang's and their fans' new journeys. It also tells the group's request to their supporters to wait for their return, although they will understand if they leave.

"If you want to leave, I understand," the lyrics sang by Daesung and Taeyang said. There is also a line where they saying that they will be scattering flowers on the road that they could walk on. But, if they ever feel that they miss them, they are asking to "please come back."

Billboard described "Flower Road" as a smooth dance-pop song that puts Big Bang's vocals as the main focus of the track. Fans can also hear its perfectly alternating guitar riffs, clapping beats, and "wailing synths."

The track also features a balance between being melancholic and optimistic. It is also honoring the group's relationship with their fans all over the world that have been supporting them day and night for more than a decade.

Meanwhile, Big Bang is expected to return and be reunited once again after they finished their mandatory military duties. After G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung's enlistments, the youngest member of the group, Seungri, is also set to be enlisted anytime soon. T.O.P. has been serving the recruitment since January 2017.
