It looks like fans are about to see new faces in the return of Game of Thrones Season 8. As a casting call for a military guard has been made, it was recently revealed that EastEnders' star Alice Nokes will join the show.

The 20-year-old star is best known as Courtney Michelle, Tiffany (Martine McCutcheon) and Grant's (Ross Kemp) daughter, on the BBC One soap opera. Although HBO didn't directly confirm the news, the fan site Watchers on the Wall revealed the details of Nokes' character in the show.

The site revealed that Nokes' agency CV listed that she will appear in Game of Thrones Season 8's first, second or fourth episode. She will be playing the role of a mysterious character named Willa, Her.ie reported. However, no further details about her character have been made and the post also got deleted after a time.

Her appearance in the television show adapted from George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire novel is also confirmed by actress Danielle Galligan's, who also happens to be in Season 8, Instagram account. The Strangers in the Park actress shared a photo with Nokes while they were having a meal in Belfast, where the series is being filmed.

Galligan's talent management profile revealed that she will be playing the role of Sara in Game of Thrones Season 8. According to Mashable, she could be one of Walder Frey's (David Bradley) granddaughter, who could be Robb Stark's (Richard Madden) wife.

Meanwhile, there was a casting call for a military guard for Game of Thrones Season 8, according to Winter is Coming. The actor should be 25 to 35-years-old and could be of any race. He, too, should be "fit and agile with a good distinctive face."

As he will be part of the military guard, he should also know how to handle himself in a combat. Basically, the role is just small as he is just going to film for a day, on March 2, in Northern Ireland.

Now, fans are thinking which army he would be part of in Game of Thrones Season 8. Since the guy could come from different ethnicities, he could be part of Daenerys Targaryen's (Emilia Clarke) Unsullied army or the upcoming Golden Company.

HBO has yet to announce the official release date of Game of Thrones Season 8 but it would certainly come in 2019.
