Girls' Generation's very own Sooyoung graced the cover of 1st Look magazine's latest issue and donned the clothing she personally designed. The 28-year-old South Korean singer also talked about the charity she has been working on to give visual impairment awareness.

Sooyoung continuously works hard to raise awareness about visual impairment and make a lot of effort to help the research to find a cure to the issue. In fact, she has designed her own brand of clothing called Beaming Effect with the help of the known stylist Seo Soo Kyung to give knowledge about retinitis pigmentosa.

It is a genetic disorder that is causing vision loss. This cause has been closed to the heart of the Girl's Generation's member as her father happens to have this kind of disorder, Soompi reported.

If truth be told, Sooyoung has been helping this foundation by doing different kinds of events like charity and bazaars. Also, she uses her incredible talents to make different projects to raise awareness.

As a matter of fact, the actress is not the only one show is fighting for this cause. "My father, who is suffering from Retinitis Pigmentosa, established the campaign and is heavily involved in it," she said in an interview with 1st Look.

Sooyoung knows that not everyone knows about visual impairment, thus she is doing everything to make it known. She also warned the disease's serious effect and its impact on someone's daily living and life in general, according to All KPop.

Meanwhile, the Girls' Generation member proudly shared that she has helped every step of the way to create and design her new line of clothing, Beaming Effect, which she donned for the magazine's photo shoot.

From the designs to the intricate details, Sooyoung took the process of creating those. Also, fans have the chance to lay their hands and wear her personally designed outfits as it will be available starting on Friday, February 23, at a pop-up store in the Lotte department store. All of the clothing line's profits will proceed to her foundation.

The cover of her 1st Look magazine and interview, on the other hand, will be out on Thursday, February 22.
