BTS Goes Stateside: Bangtan Boys Featured on 'On Air with Ryan Seacrest'
BTS continues to conquer popular entertainment shows from the television screen to radio programs. On a tweet posted on November 16, from the official Twitter account of the American radio personality, Ryan Seacrest, he announced the appearance of the Bangtan Boys on his radio program, “On Air with Ryan Seacrest.”
The actor slash host tweets, “FYI tmrw (tomorrow) morning @bts_bighit will be joining @OnAirWithRyan in studio!” Seacrest then called out the attention of the ARMY, “#BTSArmy set your alarm for 6:40a PT!” The episode aired on November 17 at 6:40 AM PT.
On the other hand, BTS landed on two recent tweets posted by the official account of “On Air/Ryan Seacrest”, confirming the arrival of BTS to their show. Official Twitter account @OnAirWithRyan writes, “Guess who we are having in-studio tomorrow? No big deal, just BTS!!!!!” The statement was later followed by the hashtag #BTSOnSeacrest.
The skyrocketing popularity of BTS in the US made the boys occupied with a variety of interviews and appearance.This is not the only radio show that invited the boys. According to Soompi, the boy band was only featured on “On with Mario Lopez” and they will also be sitting down with “JoJo on the Radio”.
Their trip to the United States took over various American shows this month including “The Late Late Show with James Corden”, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”. Nothing seems to stop the boy band to stardom as they perform “DNA” on the stage of “2017 American Music Awards” on Sunday, November 19.
Soompi reports that a teaser for their collaboration with DJ Steve Aoki in “MIC Drop” remix surprised the scene on November 17. In addition, the group also appeared on KTLA News. Member Jimin enticed the crowd with his “cute English skills.”
After showing their dominance on Twitter and hitting the “Top Social Artist Title” on Billboard Music Awards, BTS continues to slay outside Korea. The Stateside catches the BTS bug amplified by the incessant support of the ARMY.
