BTS to Appear at “Jimmy Kimmel Live”

BTS continuous to take on the spotlight with their latest TV appearance. It has just been confirmed that the Korean boy band sensation will appear on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" - a long-rumored performance for the K-pop band. The appearance is only two days after their performance on this year's American Music Awards on Nov.19.

According to Billboard, a representative for BTS has confirmed the rumors and that the boy band will perform for their live audience. BTS's main vocalist RM (Rap Monster) talked about how thrilled they all are about the 2017 American Music Awards, as well as their TV appearances on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Rap Monster looked excited and nervous at the same time as he stated, "I can't believe we're going on American talk shows. It's unbelievable, but I'm happy to be able to do something unbelievable. I'm seriously very happy.", wrote Soompi.

Rap Monster also recalled the conversation that he had with Jimin about the shows the previous night. He mentioned how the other members of the group should not be worrying about it and should just answer the questions and perform well. There have only been a few Korean acts on the U.S. television. To date, the list includes Girl's Generation, Wonder Girls, and PSY, who famously taught his choreography to both Britney Spears and Ellen on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" back in 2012.

The lack of western pop acts since One Direction went on hiatus about a year ago, has led the Korean boy bands to rose from fame and conquering a sizeable part of the pop industry, attracting more fans and music watchers across the world. With a line of concerts and appearances increasing, it's not a surprise that the K-pop revolution has taken over America's diversifying pop music scene.
