Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez Back Together? Two Spotted Hanging Over Breakfast
Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez back as a couple? Rumors about the two dating again started after they were spotted having breakfast together without any entourage on Sunday morning at a Westlake Village cafe. TMZ obtained a photo of the two sitting opposite each other and what appeared to be in a deep conversation. Gomez's current boyfriend, The Weekend, is nowhere in sight. While Bieber appeared to have been trying to hide under his gray hoodie, a makeup-free Gomez did not have anything to cover her identity.
It also appeared that the two spent time with each other after breakfast. E! News said the two were seen together attending church services and sat with the pastor. 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star Chris Pratt was also said to be in attendance, the entertainment site added. TMZ also said Bieber and Gomez were also spotted hanging out at the latter's house the previous Sunday, and the 'What Do You Mean'? singer actually stayed until midnight.
On the other hand, one source told the site that there is nothing going on between the two despite the long, romantic history and that Gomez's boyfriend, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, understood the situation. The Weekend is currently on tour.
"Justin has been in constant contact with Selena and they have a great, friendly relationship (and that she) is trying to not overdo it (with seeing Justin) as she doesn't want to upset Abel," the source said.
But should we take The Weekend's social media actions as a hint that he is not happy with the situation? Elle noted the 'I Feel It Coming' crooner unfollowed some of his girlfriend's family members and close friends. The Weekend unfollowed Gomez's assistant, mother, and Francia Raisa, a close friend, and Gomez's kidney transplant donor. However, The Weekend and Gomez seems to be still following each other. His social media actions, however, seems to be similar to what he did when he was breaking off things with ex-girlfriend, model Bella Hadid.
