North Korea built a new airport terminal in an effort to boost tourism, according to the news outlet Gizmodo.

Although the terminal boasts an Internet room, the new attraction may be lacking one very important aspect.

The Internet room actually appears to be missing the Internet, according to USA Today. The room’s three terminals were reportedly occupied by North Korean airport employees, or were completely empty, with their keyboard removed, according to The Associated Press.

Most North Koreans reportedly don’t have personal computers, and those who do have online access can only reportedly see the country’s domestic version of the Internet, which consists of websites that are sanctioned by the government, and is for internal use only.

“For locals of course they don’t have access to the general internet, but I would say they have more like 10 percent of it,” one Egyptian telecom director who worked on North Korea’s internet recently told NK News.

“[Because] the North Koreans try to simulate whatever exists in the outside world, but in a better way.”

Those who are able to use the Internet are reportedly always under close supervision.

Airport officials have reportedly refused to comment to the AP regarding the use of the Internet room.

Aside from the Internet room, the new terminal reportedly boasts coffee and souvenir shops, a DVD stand, information desk and a billboard showing a crew dressed in blue and red uniforms for Air Koryo, North Korea’s flag-carrier. Two chocolate fountains can reportedly be seen as well.
