Las Vegas Shooting Second Shooter, False Flag New World Order Narrative And Other Conspiracy Theories Sweep The Internet
Authorities took out the brain of 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, the identified shooter in Las Vegas on October 1, to conduct a microscopic study in the hopes that they can identify an abnormality that can finally determine why he committed the mass shooting. The brain was under the custody of an unknown facility for further studies. According to Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo, it remained unknown whether there were any abnormalities as of October 13.
The microscopic study on Mandalay shooter was performed because of the mystery that surrounded Paddock's persona. It would be recalled that weeks after the Las Vegas shooting, authorities remained clueless about his motive. This was unusual for a crime of this kind. The mystery deepened as it was found that he spent decades acquiring weapons and high caliber guns and lived a secret life that even his close family members and loved ones were unaware of. According to CNN, his younger brother even described him as fun to hang out with.
It is with such mystery that conspiracy theories about the Las Vegas shooting persisted up until now. There were, in fact, several YouTube videos that went as far as claiming that Paddock was still alive and that police authority was covering him up. Two of such videos could be found below.
Las Vegas Review-Journal stated that many of the conspiracy theories believed by people were based on the false flag New World Order narrative as permutated by Alex Jones' Infowars website. People believed that the Las Vegas shooting was a staged crime in order for the government to justify its goal of eradicating guns and thereby having the total control of the people. Journalist Bethania Palma of Snopes.com, also told the publication that she found that many people believed the second-shooter conspiracy theory.
As already previously discussed by Snopes.com, various websites alleged that there was a second shooter whose fires were shot from the fourth floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Paddock was shooting from the 32nd floor according to various media and police reports. However, such claims remained unfounded as various videos presented to support these allegations were all futile.
