Yeeun has announced a solo comeback in mid-October under the name HA:TFELT, which she previously used for solo artist releases under JYP Entertainment. This will be the first HA:TFELT comeback since the singer's former group Wonder Girls disbanded in January. An insider has said that the comeback track will be an R&B song.

Last weekend, Yeeun appeared at the World Club Dome Korea 2017 to perform her new song "Fly High," an EDM music track. The song is a collaboration between Yeeun and DJ Le Shuuk, an artist, and producer from Germany.

Yeeun, a.k.a Yenny, originally emerged as HA:TFELT in July 2014 when she released the album "Me?" All seven of the album's tracks were composed by Yeeun. The first single from the album was the track "Ain't Nobody." The name HA:TFELT comes from a combination of the words "heartfelt" and "hot," notes Billboard.

For a couple of years after her solo artist debut, Yeeun focused on being a member of Wonder Girls. The group welcomed back former member Sunmi for a comeback in August 2015, following a hiatus of nearly three years. The rebooted Wonder Girls came out with the album "Reboot" and a new four-member band concept.

Wonder Girls also had a comeback in 2016 with the single "Why So Lonely." But in January 2017, JYP Entertainment announced that only two members, Yubin and Hyerim, were renewing their contracts with the agency. Yeeun and Sunmi had chosen to depart from JYPE. Wonder Girls released their final single "Draw Me" on February 10 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut.

Sunmi soon signed with a new agency, MakeUs Entertainment. In August, she released the single "Gashina."

Yeeun joined Amoeba Culture, a label known for managing hip-hop artists such as Dynamic Duo and Primary. Soompi reports that as of September 26, Yeeun has unveiled official social media accounts for HA:TFELT on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Weibo.
