‘Bride Of The Water God’ Actor Nam Joo Hyuk Fan Meeting Updates: Lee Sung Kyung’s Boyfriend Unveils Tour Details
Given Nam Joo Hyuk's rising popularity, the "Bride of the Water God" actor amassed a loyal following in South Korea, as well as in other parts of the world. Recently, details of Lee Sung Kyung's boyfriend's upcoming Asian fan meeting tour were revealed.
Avid fans of Nam Joo Hyuk will soon have the chance to see the "Bride of the Water God" star in person. In a recent announcement released by the actor's agency, as obtained by Korea Herald, YG Entertainment unveiled the said celebrity's upcoming three-country fan meeting tour.
Lee Sung Kyung's boyfriend will be traveling to Bangkok to hold a special event for his Thai fans on Sept. 16. Dubbed "Nam Joo Hyuk Private Stage [Close-Up]," the said fan meeting's flow of activities will be different from the usual meet-and-greet events organized by other agencies, according to YG Entertainment. The "Bride of the Water God" actor will even prepare varied activities for each of his tour stops, as well as provide local fans a chance to hear interesting stories from him.
Aside from Thailand, Nam Joo Hyuk will also visit the Philippines and Taiwan. The actor's fan meetings will be held in the said countries' capital cities namely Manila and Taipei on Sept. 23 and Oct. 8, respectively.
Nam Joo Hyuk portrays the lead character Ha Baek in "Bride of the Water God." A TV adaptation of the Korean manhwa of the same name, the said production tells the story of the water god who meets his human servant So Ah (Shin Se Kyung) in his quest to recover the god stones that were entrusted to two godly beings living in the mortal realm.
Recently, the said drama achieved an impressive milestone and was named one of the highly popular Asian series on the Warner Bros. owned video streaming site Drama Fever. "Bride of the Water God" nabbed the third spot on the said site's latest weekly Top 10 chart. After debuting at number 17 on the chart's previous list, Nam Joo Hyuk's drama jumped more than 10 places up to claim its current ranking.
