Directed by Antoine Fuqua, 'Magnificent Seven' starred Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio, Lee Byung-hun, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Martin Sensmeier.

Lee Byung Hun is leading the cast of "Mr. Sunshine," a TV series set to premiere on tvN in 2018. It is the third collaboration of Kim Eun Sook and Lee Eung Bok.

In 2016, Kim wrote KBS2 series "Descendants of the Sun" and tvN series "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God." Eung Bok was one of the directors of both series.

"Mr. Sunshine" will mark Byung Hun's return to the small screen. His last regular TV role was Kim Hyun Jun in "Iris," which aired on KBS2 in 2009.

In 2011, Byung Hun made a cameo appearance in the Japanese TV series "Diplomat Kosaku Kuroda." He played John, lawyer and childhood friend of the title role played by "Bayside Shakedown" star Yuji Oda.

From 2009 to 2017, Byung Hun starred in several films. He starred with Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson in the 2013 military sci-fi action film "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" and with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke and Jason Clarke in the 2015 sci-fi action film "Terminator Genisys."

In 2016, Byung Hun played Billy Rocks in the Western action film "The Magnificent Seven." One of his co-stars was Chris Pratt, who recently finished filming "Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom," according to Entertainment Weekly.

Joining Byung Hun in the cast of "Mr. Sunshine" are Yoo Yeon Seok and Kim Tae Ri, Korea Herald reported. Yoo and Tae Ri made their acting debuts in the 2003 movie "Oldboy" and the 2010 movie "Citizen Zombie," respectively.

On the small screen, Yoo's most recent TV role was Kang Dong Joo in the SBS series "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim." The medical drama series, which aired from Nov. 7, 2016 to Jan. 16, also starred Han Suk Kyu and Seo Hyun Jin.

As for Tae Ri, her role in "Mr. Sunshine" will be her first TV role excluding her cameo appearance in "Entourage" in 2016 as herself. The latter is the South Korean version of the HBO series of the same name, which starred Jeremy Piven, Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Connolly, among others.
