Fans of BTS were recently shocked to find videos of the K-pop group proliferating in a popular adult site. The videos were believed to be illegally uploaded by a yet unidentified netizen.

According to SBS Pop Asia, the videos were taken from BTS' video feeds on VLive. The videos were ones that require payment and it was believed that some netizens must have found a way to rip the videos and share them for free using the unlikely source.

The report said that the perpetrator may have wanted to sidestep copyright infringement violations by putting the videos up on the X-rated site to give access to the "free" BTS videos. Some believe that it may have been a way to keep the videos online for longer since they are quickly taken down on other platforms like youtube.

Fans were surprised to see their favorite idols on the menu with suggestive titles like "Cute Korean Boys Have Some Fun Together" which could be a ploy to get hits. Once opened, the videos are those of the BTS members as they set off on their activities for their broadcasts.

Aside from the videos, it's a good thing though that the BTS videos on the site only consist of music videos, their VLive episodes and other similar types of content. It seemed like the perpetrators were trying to find a way to sidestep the pay-only restriction for most of the material.

Still, Big Hit Entertainment wasted no time in taking down the pay-only BTS videos on the adult site. They however, left the BTS MVs, which are considered free content, on the site. The label has not issued any statement on whether they will take legal action against the culprit.

BTS is one of the most famous and influential K-pop idol groups in Korea and in the world, recently topping a survey conducted among Koreans along with TWICE. They are set to make their comeback later this year, Korea Portal reported.
