‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ News & Update: BioWare Writers Tease Upcoming Secret DLC

Back in May, reports of BioWare Montreal being scaled down to a support studio for other BioWare titles caused a halt to "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" in-game growth. Unfortunately, since its launch back in March, "ME: A" has not been on the receiving of such high praises especially from its fan base.

After several attempts to improve and tweak gameplay animations and cinematics, nothing seemed to have worked. These issues seemingly have forced BioWare to take a step away from the product and put its dev team on hiatus to pile up on better ideas.

Now, after almost two months, rumors are pointing out to a new "Mass Effect: Andromeda" DLC. In a report by GameRant, several members of the BioWare writing team were taking part in a Twitch stream and they're asked to drop any details for future "ME: WallshlaegerA" DLCs. The development team responded that they couldn't talk about future content or projects but assured that there will be some resolutions for the Mass Effect: Andromeda story's remaining threads.

Another BioWare emWallschlaeger, who's currently a writer for "Mass Effect: Andromeda," graciously shared on Twitter she's currently in the process of writing. In quote, "this is my favorite thing I've ever written" and ended the Tweet with a hashtag that says secrets.

GameRant is claiming or is making a wild guess that Wallschlaeger is referring to "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Mainly because of the timing of the hints being dropped consecutively by people who are working closely for the game.

Are Quarians and Turians Coming In The Next DLC?

3 months ago, Reddit user red_badge_of_derp has keenly observed in "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" Golden World's trailer, that the narration seems to have mentioned the word Quarians right by the 2:10th mark of the video. Several news outlets took notice and BioWare has not confirmed, nor denied the speculations. The line says "For our Turian and Quarian colonists, Habitat Five appears to be a perfect home for dextro-protein life."

Quarians have yet to make it to "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and it has a logical shot of being featured unto the next DLC. However, a few months back in his interview with Game Informer, creative director Mac Walters have also mentioned that not all alien races would make an appearance into the game.
