The anime recently revealed that Krillin has been training nonstop even though he retired from martial arts. However, it seems like the Tournament of Power will unveil a whole new side to Krillin. There are speculations that this latent power of Krillin will be unleashed because Android 18 will most likely be eliminated and erased early in the tournament.

This is a surprise as Yardrat was expected to be part of Universe 6 but it seems like there’s an explanation why he has joined Universe 2 instead. In another series of “Dragon Ball”, Goku escaped a deadly fight again Frieza by getting on a spaceship and that spaceship took him to the planet of Yardrats. The Yardrats most likely moved to another universe because Frieza’s army has been attacking and destroying planets.
Goku warns his team about the Yardrat because he revealed that their species has taught him a lot of useful techniques. He pointed out that they may not be that strong but they have a lot of techniques up their sleeves so it will be tricky going against them.
