With recent MVs from K-pop groups reaching record numbers in record times, BIG BANG has proven that it is still making waves in the scene despite being on hiatus as a five member group. BIG BANG's video for "Fantastic Baby" has recently breached the 300 million, giving them the honor of becoming the first K-pop group to achieve the milestone.

According to a report by Soompi, "Fantastic Baby," one of BIG BANG's biggest hits from their 5th mini album "Alive" gave BIG BANG the honor of being the first male K-pop group to achieve 200 million views. Now, they have surpassed their own record and have achieved a new milestone with 300 million views.

It can be recalled that BIG BANG's "Fantastic Baby" became a worldwide hit and was even used in the hit musical series "Glee" at the height of its popularity. The "Fantastic Baby" was first uploaded on streaming site Youtube on March 6, 2012, and has now reached 300,341,261 views.

Even though BIG BANG is currently taking a break as a five-member K-pop group following T.O.P's enlistment to the military last February, the group continues to remain relevant in the K-pop industry. In a recent survey conducted among CEOs and representatives of 32 of the biggest Korean entertainment agencies, BIG BANG still ranked third in the most influential male K-pop boy bands.

It was considered a major accomplishment for BIG BANG to still be among the top groups for entertainment's top brass considering that its members are now busy doing individual projects and not as a group, All Kpop reported.

BIG BANG leader G-Dragon was also voted as the unanimous choice for Best Male Solo Artist. G-Dragon and Teddy from YG Entertainment were also voted by the CEOs in the Top 5 of the Best K-pop Producers in the industry.
