Seungri From BIGBANG Will Be Fighting in A Martial Arts Tournament

Seungri is planning to fight again this summer. The BIGBANG member will be facing for a showdown on tatami mats in order to get a higher belt level in Jiu-Jitsu. Seungri plans on attending the New York Summer International Open IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship which will be held in July. He will be fighting to attain his purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

The BIGBANG member has been training heavily for the competition all year round and has been having lessons with some of the great experts of the industry. He has recently spotted training for the tournament with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt holder Matheus Diniz who is famous for his skill all around the world. Matheus was spotted giving Seungri the 'thumbs up' in a recently posted photo on the web.

The artist has been training in Osaka, Japan all this while and has got most of his Jiu Jitsu teammates to start supporting his group BIGBANG. Seungri has been participating in belt competitions for quite some time now, the artist already owns a black belt in Taekwondo.

He is currently a blue belt level fighter in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has one month of training left before he goes and fights for his purple belt in July. Seungri is a talented young man who has achieved everything he has ever put his heart to. He runs a few businesses, fights Taekwondo and Jiu-Jitsu and can speak a lot of languages. Apart from all his talents, he has managed to be a part of one of the biggest K-Pop Boy Bands on the planet without a hitch. We hope Seungri all the best for his Jiu Jitsu competition in July and hope he can attain his purple belt without any hindrances.
