WANNA ONE Members' Positions Revealed; Group Lands First Endorsement Deal

Just last week, “Produce 101” Season 2 concluded with the reveal of its final members. Though the said Mnet show was swarmed with rumors on its impending finale, it eventually affirmed that 11 trainees will be debuting in a new group. The new 11 members will debut as WANNA ONE and their respective positions in the new group has been revealed.

Kang Daniel from MMO, who gained the top spot in the finale of “Producer 101” Season 2, will be the face and center of WANNA ONE. Aside from that, he will also be holding the roles of main dancer, sub-vocal, and sub-rapper of the group. Top 2 finalist Park Jihoo of Maroo will be the lead dancer, sub-vocal, and sub-rapper, too. Lee Dae Hwi of Brand New Music and Hwang Min Hyun of Pledis Entertainment will be focusing on their only roles as lead vocals.

The main vocals of WANNA ONE will consist of Kim Jaehwan of Individual and Ha Sungwoon of Ardor & Able. Ong Seong Woo of Fantagio will also be the main dancer. He will be joined by Yoon Ji Sung of MMO and Bae Jin Young of C9 for the sub-vocal roles. Park Woo Jin, who is also from Brand New Music will be holding the roles of main rapper and lead dancer. Lai Guan Lin of Cube Entertainment will follow as he holds the role of lead rapper.

YMC Entertainment has already scheduled WANNA ONE to make their debut in August. While preparing for their anticipated debut, the group will be focusing on the finale concert of “Produce 101” Season 2, which will be in July. The group has also landed their first endorsement deal with Innisfree. The cosmetics brand has signed up with the group and will reveal its commercial ad featuring the boys by the end of June.
