Bill Cosby is a comedian best known for starring in the television sitcom 'The Cosby Show,' which aired from 1984 to 1992.

Bill Cosby, 79, will have to wait a little longer for the verdict of the jury on the three aggravated indecent assault charges against him. On the fourth day of deliberations, the jury was deadlocked on the charges and are set to return for a fifth day of deliberation on June 16, Friday.

On the fourth day, the jury informed Montgomery County Judge Steven O'Neill about the problem. In a note to the judge, Variety reported, the jury foreperson wrote that they "cannot come to a unanimous consensus on any of the charges."

O'Neill reminded the jury that reaching a decision is their duty. He told them that they should report to him if they are still deadlocked on some or all of the charges after further deliberations.

If the jury finds Cosby guilty of all the three charges, the legendary comedian could be sentenced to up to 10 years on each count. The members of the jury were selected in May in Pittsburgh, where they were sequestered for the duration of the trial.

The three aggravated indecent assault charges were filed against Cosby on Dec. 30, 2015 in Montgomery Country, Pennsylvania. They were based on allegations by Andrea Constand about incidents that took place in January 2004.

One of those who have been closely following the trial in the Montgomery County courthouse is Gloria Allred, 75, a civil-rights attorney known for her high-profile cases involving women. "You don't know what a jury is going to do," she told Vulture.

Allred has represented clients in suits against celebrities including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tommy Lee and Sacha Baron Cohen. She is currently representing 33 women who have accused Cosby of sexual assault.

Among the sexual assault accusers of Cosby is Janice Dickinson, 62. The former supermodel accused the comedian of raping her in 1982 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
