High Rise Painter Murdered In Yangsan After Mystery Man Cuts Off the Safety Rope
In a shocking incident in Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province; a high-rise painter was declared dead after his safety rope was cut off by a mystery man. The rope was anchored to a high-rise building in order to keep the painter safe, it helps the painter dangle off of the side of the painting, which allows him to paint it easily. This incident has put everyone in the province in a state of shock, and many workers are now reluctant to return back to work.
The tragedy took place on the morning of Thursday at around 8 am, while the workers were busy painting a 15-story tall apartment building in Yangsan. The local police were quick and prompt with their response and were able to capture a suspect by Monday. They nabbed a 41-year-old man who is suspected of cutting off the rope while the painter was doing his job.
Initial investigations by the police suggest that the 41-year-old suspect was fed up by the music that the painters were playing. Frustrated, he went to the roof and cut through the 1.8 cm thick rope by which the painter was suspended. Police found the knife used to cut through the rope, inside the 41-year-old suspect's kitchen.
The painter died due to severe injuries that were sustained as a result of the deathly fall. He was 40 years old and had a significant part of his life left to live, alas his chances were cut off by a deranged man who could not bear the music that they were playing. Incidents like this are not uncommon, there have been many instances in the past where a person has lost his/her life because of intolerant people around them. It is important, that we as people learn to cooperate and co-exist with our fellow human beings, without getting wound up over silly things like music choices.
