‘Suspicious Partner,’ ‘Ruler: Master Of The Mask,’ ‘My Secret Romance’ Among Most Popular Asian Series

"Suspicious Partner" continues to delight avid K-drama lovers across the globe with its interesting plot, as well as the onscreen chemistry between Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun. The SBS drama even nabbed the top spot on a popular Asian series list with "Ruler: Master of the Mask" and "My Secret Romance" trailing close behind the romantic comedy suspense series.

The Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun starrer retained its first-place ranking on Drama Fever's weekly Top 10 list of popular Asian series. For the week period covering June 13, "Suspicious Partner" landed at number one, according to a chart listing posted on the Warner Bros. owned video streaming site.

The said achievement marked the second time that "Suspicious Partner" topped the said Drama Fever chart. For the first week of June, the SBS romantic comedy suspense series also reigned over the said popular Asian series list and even bumped the hit OCN drama "My Secret Romance" from its earlier number one spot.

Meanwhile, trailing close behind "Suspicious Partner" is the MBC historical series "Ruler: Master of the Mask." The Yoo Seung Ho starrer jumped to second place as compared to its previous number three ranking. Following the said drama is Sung Hoon and Song Ji Eun's series "My Secret Romance" at third place, with "Running Man" and the KBS time-slip drama "Best Hit" at fourth and fifth place, respectively.

With "Suspicious Partner," "Ruler: Master of the Mask" and "My Secret Romance" topping Drama Fever's latest chart, the Asian series that occupied the bottom half of the said Top 10 weekly list included "My Sassy Girl" at number six and "Lookout" at number seven. Gong Yoo's tvN fantasy series "Goblin" nabbed the eighth spot, while "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" landed at ninth place and the Chinese drama "Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms" at number 10.

In other news, "Suspicious Partner" has shown steady TV ratings with viewership shares hovering between 8 percent and 10 percent. With the drama at its halfway point, avid viewers are hoping for the series to reach the 15 percent mark so that they could enjoy a special treat from cast members. Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun previously promised to gift lucky viewers with a coffee cart treat at a venue that fans will identify if ratings exceed 15 percent, Soompi reported.
