‘Produce 101’ Season 2 Episode 10: Updates, News & Spoilers

On episode 10 of Produce 101 Season 2, which aired on June 9, a total of 15 trainees were eliminated among the remaining 35 trainees. The third elimination was determined through the previous concept challenge on top of online voting results. Only 20 trainees will move to the final round and seal their fate on the final episode on Produce 101, which will air live on June 16.

On the latest episode, we saw Kang Daniel winning the top spot for the concept challenge, automatically earning him 100,000 benefit votes. Kang Dongho was revealed to take the second spot with 20,000 benefit votes. Produce 101 left the viewers hanging on the previous episode by not announcing the 1st place winner for the concept challenge. On Episode 10, we finally see the winner of the previous concept challenge as well as the top 20 trainees who will continue to the final round of Season 2.

The trainee to rank 1st during the latest overall voting is none other than MMO trainee Kang Daniel, who got a total of 828,148 votes. Taking 2nd place is Maroo Entertainment's Park Jihoon while Ha Sung Woon takes 3rd rank. The remaining trainees who made it to the top 20 are as follows, from 20th to 4th: Lai Guanlin, Jung Se Woon, Joo Hak Nyeon, Im Young Min, Yoo Seon Ho, Choi Min Ki, Ahn Hyung Seob, Kim Jae Hwan, Kang Dong Ho, Hwang Min Hyun, Lee Dae Hwi, Yoon Ji Sung,Ong Sung Woo, Kim Jong Hyun, Park Woo Jin, Kim Samuel, and Bae Jin Young.

Many netizens were saddened that the more talented vocalists and dancers were eliminated. Viewers were especially disappointed that trainees like Noh Taehyun, Park Woodam, Kim Yongguk, and Lee Woojin did not make the cut. The final challenge of Produce 101 Season 2 will be the 'debut challenge' where the remaining 20 trainees will be split into 2 teams of 10 and perform original songs made by notable producers. The 2 teams will battle it out in a face off in the season finale episode of Produce 101, which will be broadcast live on June 16.
